Baseball Recap: Preble Shawnee Comes Up Short

Preble Shawnee lost to Twin Valley South back in April of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Arrows fell 7-3 to the Panthers.

Preble Shawnee got a good showing from Carson Brooks, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Jacob Carter was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Preble Shawnee's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Twin Valley South, their record is now 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Preble Shawnee will host Franklin Monroe at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Arrows their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Twin Valley South, they will be playing at home against Tri-County North at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Twin Valley South's pitchers better be ready for this one: Tri-County North has averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
