Soccer Recap: Lower Richland Comes Up Short

Lower Richland scored the most goals they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against the Lakewood Gators, falling 9-3. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Lower Richland were already down 6-2.

Kenniel Ambert and Alex Perez scored all three of Lower Richland's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Lower Richland dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Lakewood, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Coming up, Lower Richland will welcome South Florence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Florence will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lower Richland surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lakewood, they will face off against Hartsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
