Soccer Recap: Hilton Head Island Comes Up Short

If Hilton Head Island was feeling good fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Colleton County last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Seahawks fell just short of the Bishop England Battling Bishops by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Hilton Head Island couldn't quite close it out.

Hilton Head Island's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-6. As for Bishop England, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-4.

Coming up, Hilton Head Island will take on Parkview at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Hilton Head Island are facing Parkview at the right time seeing as Parkview are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bishop England, they will challenge St. James at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
