Basketball Recap: Olney's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Olney's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Eastland Mavericks by a score of 45-32. The win was some much needed relief for the Cubs as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

The victory got Olney back to even at 8-8. As for Eastland, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Olney will square off against Wichita Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Eastland will take on Breckenridge in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on December 17th at. Eastland is facing Breckenridge at the right time seeing as Breckenridge is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
