Recap: Greater New Bedford RVT Bears vs. Bay Path RVT Minutemen
After a string of three wins, the Greater New Bedford RVT Bears's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a hard 30-13 fall against Bay Path RVT. Greater New Bedford RVT lost against Bay Path RVT in their previous head to head back in November of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 47-21 score last time.
Leading Bay Path RVT to victory were Bradyn Downes and Kaiden Brochu. Downes rushed for 92 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, while Brochu rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns. Brochu is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last ten games he's played.
Greater New Bedford RVT's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Bay Path RVT, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greater New Bedford RVT will take on Diman RVT at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Bay Path RVT, they will head out on the road to face off against Oxford at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Oxford will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
