Florence put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Show Low Cougars by a score of 9-6. That's two games straight that the Gophers have won by exactly three runs.

Zane O'Rourke was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Adrian Rodriguez was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Florence pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Show Low, their record is now 3-3.

Looking ahead, Florence will square off against ALA - Ironwood at 6:00 p.m. on March 10th. Florence's pitching crew has only allowed 1.6 runs per game this season, so ALA - Ironwood's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Show Low, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 loss against Thatcher on the 4th.
