There's no place like home for Paw Paw, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Dowagiac Chieftains a 10-0 shutout on Thursday. The Red Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matches by six runs or more this season.

The result came thanks to Gunnar Goodell's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Ryan Holmes was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Andrew Lehto, who went 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Paw Paw was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dowagiac only posted a batting average of .095.

Paw Paw moved to 21-9 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Dowagiac, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.

Paw Paw will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Chieftains: the pair will be back at it again later today.
