Recap: Chesterfield Golden Rams vs. Central Eagles
The Chesterfield Golden Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 46-27 bruising from Central. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Chesterfield in their matchups with Central: they've now lost seven in a row.
Central was led to victory by Caden Edmond and Tyson Miller. Edmond scored ten points along with eight rebounds, while Miller scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. That's the first time this season that Miller scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Tazhir Webber, who scored six points.
Chesterfield's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Central, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-10.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Cheraw the next time they take the court. Central will host Cheraw at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, while Chesterfield will host them at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
