Volleyball Game Preview: Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack vs. Elk Grove Thundering Herd + How To Watch

The Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack will head out to take on the Elk Grove Thundering Herd at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games Cosumnes Oaks has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Cosumnes Oaks took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Franklin, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wolfpack had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 3-2 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Wolfpack as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Elk Grove not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0). They blew past Sheldon 3-0. The Thundering Herd haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Elk Grove walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-15, 25-22, 26-24.

Cosumnes Oaks' record now sits at 11-17. As for Elk Grove, their record is now 7-8.

Cosumnes Oaks might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Elk Grove in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Wolfpack avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
