Volleyball Recap: Amber-Pocasset Comes Up Short

Amber-Pocasset was the 3-0 winner over Weatherford when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Eagles on Saturday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Weatherford scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-17.

Amber-Pocasset's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Weatherford, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Amber-Pocasset has already played their next game (against Clinton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Weatherford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Blanchard on the 23rd.
