Basketball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-40 heartbreaker at the hands of the Paxon School For Advanced Studies Golden Eagles. If the Generals were looking for revenge after losing 41-34 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Paxon School For Advanced Studies, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.

Riverside will take on Episcopal School of Jacksonville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Paxon School For Advanced Studies, they will challenge Beachside at 6:30 p.m. on January 28th.
