After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Canton Central Catholic, Crestwood was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past the Ravenna Ravens 5-1. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-1.

Crestwood hit Ravenna with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kyle Shelhamer (2), Ryder Miller, Dakota Powers, and Isaac Siegner.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-5. As for Ravenna, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crestwood will host Chagrin Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crestwood's defense better be ready for this one: Chagrin Falls have averaged an impressive 5 goals per game this season. As for Ravenna, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Streetsboro at 5:00 p.m. Streetsboro will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Ravenna surely won't give up without a fight.
