Baseball Recap: Naples Classical Comes Up Short

Naples Classical was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 15-4 to the Mason Classical Academy Paladins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Paladins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-6 two weeks ago.

Naples Classical's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Mason Classical Academy, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5.

Coincidentally, Naples Classical and Mason Classical Academy will both be playing Everglades City the next time they take the field. The Academy will head out to face the Gators at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Paladins will host them at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
