Basketball Recap: Canyon Comes Up Short

Canyon lost against Judson back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The match between the Canyon Cougars and the Judson Rockets didn't end well, with the Canyon Cougars falling 70-56. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by exactly 14 points.

Canyon's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Judson, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-14.

Canyon will welcome Steele at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Steele knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 21 contests -- so hopefully Canyon likes a good challenge. As for Judson, they will venture away from home to challenge Johnson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Judson is facing Johnson at the right time seeing as Johnson is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
