Football Recap: Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders vs. Governor Livingston Highlanders
Scotch Plains-Fanwood lost against Governor Livingston back in October of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders fell 24-14 to the Governor Livingston Highlanders. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Governor Livingston had a senior duo take command as Jack Dally rushed for 148 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry and Lucciano Santamaria rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
Scotch Plains-Fanwood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Governor Livingston, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.
