Baseball Game Preview: New Buffalo Bison vs. Buchanan Bucks

New Buffalo hasn't had much luck against Buchanan recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Bison will face off against the Bucks at 4:15 p.m. New Buffalo is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

New Buffalo is headed into Wednesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Saturday. They lost 17-7 to Brandywine. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bison have suffered since June 5, 2024.

Drew Bowen made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played.

Meanwhile, Buchanan can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They and Niles finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 draw.

New Buffalo's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. Buchanan's tie gives them a new season record of 6-17-1.
