Soccer Game Preview: Steele vs. Lockhart

The Steele Knights will take on the Lockhart Lions at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Steele's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Crockett as they made off with a 3-0 win. Steele might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Lockhart unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Friday. They and Pflugerville finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The result kept Lockhart happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 16, 2025.

Steele's victory bumped their record up to 6-1-1. Lockhart's draw gives them a new season record of 6-1-1.

Steele beat Lockhart by a goal in their previous meeting back in January of 2022, winning 4-3. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
