Basketball Recap: Ursuline Academy Takes a Loss

The Bears were not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 59-38 to the Ursuline Academy Bears. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Bears came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 53rd in Massachusetts, while the Bears are ranked 540th in Texas).

Among those leading the charge was Annabelle Tobin, who posted 13 points.

The Bears' defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for the Bears, they moved to 11-13 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

The Bears will take on the Cardinals at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for the Bears, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Bears at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
