Soccer Recap: Enid Comes Up Short

Enid and Bixby squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Enid had to settle for second. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 10-0. Enid have struggled against Bixby recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Enid now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Bixby, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Enid does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bixby, they will face off against Norman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bixby's defense better be ready for this one: Norman have averaged an impressive 2.8 goals per game this season.
