Victory Christian Center entered their tilt with Gaston Christian on Saturday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They took down the Gaston Christian Eagles 54-36. That's more bragging rights for the Kings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Victory Christian Center got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Abubakar Cham out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. Cham has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Landon Johnson, who went 6 for 8 en route to 14 points.

Gaston Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jeremy Duhon, who posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Luke, who had five points.

Victory Christian Center is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.
