Basketball Recap: Crawford County Takes a Loss

Crawford County played a tough matchup on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Borden Braves and fell 61-31. The Wolfpack were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-13.

Crawford County lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Braxton Bowman, who en route to 12 points and five boards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Blake Seibert, who posted seven points and eight rebounds.

Crawford County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Borden, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Crawford County and Borden will both be playing Salem the next time they take the court. Crawford County will head out to face Salem at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Borden will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
