Independence had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Liberty Creek Wolves. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Saturday.

Elia Dinsmore paced Independence's offense, picking up nine kills. Dinsmore were helped by Raegan Burtch and Caitlyn Bragg, who contributed eight assists each. Bragg also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Jorden Robinson, racking up two apiece.

Independence's record is now 7-1. As for Liberty Creek, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Independence didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Green Hill on the 23rd. As for Liberty Creek, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against White House at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
