Softball Recap: Billingsley Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Autauga Academy, Billingsley was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Keith a 10-0 shutout. Billingsley might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by ten runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Claire Seamon, who fired off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sadie Primm, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

The win snapped Billingsley's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-13 record. As for Keith, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-5.

As of now, neither Billingsley nor Keith have any future games scheduled.
