Rossville and Silver Lake are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Rossville Bulldogs will venture away from home to take on the Silver Lake Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Rossville came up short against Abilene and fell 62-51.

Meanwhile, Silver Lake had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 61-48 victory over the Panthers. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Panthers are ranked 248th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rossville's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Silver Lake, their win bumped their record up to 13-4.

Rossville was able to grind out a solid victory over Silver Lake when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 79-72. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rossville since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
