After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Highlands finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Burbank Bulldogs, falling 15-2. The Owls' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Highlands' defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Burbank, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Highlands and Burbank will both be playing Seguin the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Matadors at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Owls will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
