LeFlore and Blount are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. LeFlore will head out on the road to square off against Blount at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. LeFlore has given up an average of 12.6 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

LeFlore came up short against Williamson on Saturday, falling 14-5. The Rattlers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Blount had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Tigers. The result was nothing new for the Leopards, who have now won four games by seven runs or more so far this season.

B Arso made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only three hits, the fewest he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-4. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February of 2024.

In other batting news, Christopher Wiggins Jr was a standout: he scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of Blount's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is undefeated (and 2-5 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of John Cox, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4.

The victory got Blount back to even at 5-5. As for LeFlore, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

LeFlore might still be hurting after the 14-2 loss they got from Blount when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can LeFlore avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
