Yorktown had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 36-14 to the Karnes City Badgers on Friday. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 22-0.

Yorktown will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on Banquete on Friday. As for Karnes City, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Poteet on Friday.
