Amesbury takes loss despite strong efforts from Calista Catarius and Sadie Bolth

Recap: Amesbury Redhawks vs. Georgetown Royals
The Amesbury Redhawks lost against the Georgetown Royals back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Amesbury was outmatched by Georgetown on the road and fell 56-25. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Amesbury has scored all season.
Sadie Bolth and Calista Catarius certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss. Bolth scored eight points, while Catarius scored seven points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bolth has scored all season.
Amesbury's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Georgetown, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Amesbury will take on Hamilton-Wenham Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Georgetown, they will head out on the road to face off against Manchester Essex at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
