Williamsville had won 11 straight home games dating back to last season and Brayden Saling did his part to make it 12 on Friday. The Williamsville Bullets snuck past the Pleasant Plains Cardinals with a 46-41 win thanks in part to Saling, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds. Those nine boards gave him a new career-high.

Another player making a difference was Blake Shoufler, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 12 points and six assists. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games he's played.

Williamsville's record is now 23-1. As for Pleasant Plains, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-10.

When Williamsville and Pleasant Plains next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Williamsville will square off against Tolono Unity and their 12-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Williamsville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.2 points per game this season. Similarly, Pleasant Plains will try to stop Rantoul's four-game winning streak when the meet at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
