Genesee Valley is 9-1 against Bolivar-Richburg since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Jaguars will look to defend their home pitch against the Wolverines at 1:00 p.m. Genesee Valley will be strutting in after a win while Bolivar-Richburg will be coming in after a loss.

Genesee Valley headed into their last match having not scored more than one goal for three straight, but Friendship let them put that streak behind them. The Jaguars walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Golden Eagles on Wednesday. Genesee Valley haven't had any issues with Friendship recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Bolivar-Richburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against Campbell-Savona, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, Bolivar-Richburg can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 280th, while Campbell-Savona are ranked 82nd).

Bolivar-Richburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Genesee Valley, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 5-3-2.

Genesee Valley took their win against Bolivar-Richburg when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 4-0 score. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
