Volleyball Recap: Permian Takes a Loss

Permian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Frenship Tigers, falling 3-0. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-13, 25-23.

Permian's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Frenship, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-13 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Permian is set to take on their familiar foe Midland Legacy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Frenship will face off against rival Odessa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
