Basketball Recap: Cimarron Gets the Win

Cimarron hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They walked away with a 45-32 victory over the Larned Indians on Saturday. For the Bluejays, this counts as revenge for the 49-27 win the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2019.

Trace Kopper was his usual excellent self, putting up eight points and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Cade Sonday, who posted eight points and seven rebounds.

Cimarron's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Larned, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Cimarron has already played their next game, a 66-61 loss against Ulysses on the 28th. As for Larned, they will take on Thomas More Prep-Marian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
