After a string of ten wins, Elida's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the Memorial Roughriders by a score of 7-6. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Roughriders from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Lilly Sifrit was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she tossed six innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off six hits.
