Basketball Recap: Midlothian Takes a Loss

Midlothian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a hard 63-48 fall against the Cosby Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-42 on Friday.

Midlothian's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Cosby, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

Coming up, Midlothian will venture away from home to take on James River Midlothian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. James River Midlothian has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 180 points over their last three matches. As for Cosby, they will take on Richmond City School of the Arts at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
