Gibbs scored the most runs they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 19-7 to the Lakewood Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-3 back in March.

Gibbs' defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Lakewood, their victory bumped their record up to 5-13.

Looking ahead, Gibbs will square off against Clearwater at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lakewood, they will face off against Southeast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans are facing the Seminoles at the right time seeing as the Seminoles are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
