Soccer Game Preview: Kansas City East Christian Academy vs. St. Mary's Academy

The Kansas City East Christian Academy Lions will head out to take on the St. Mary's Academy Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Kansas City East Christian Academy is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight matches on Thursday. They lost 6-1 to East. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Kansas City East Christian Academy were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Ezra Cornell, who's now up to eight this season.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, St. Mary's Academy was not quite Cair Paravel's equal in the second half on Monday. They came up short against the Lions, falling 4-1.

Kansas City East Christian Academy now has a losing record of 7-8-3. As for St. Mary's Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Kansas City East Christian Academy couldn't quite get it done against St. Mary's Academy in their previous matchup back in September of 2015 as they fell 2-0. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
