Onalaska blew Cascade Christian out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Cascade Christian got their revenge. The Loggers fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 41-38. The Loggers' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Cascade Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tayven Collins led the charge by rushing for 79 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, while also picking up 74 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. What's more, Collins posted two receiving touchdowns, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Josiah Laurence also helped out with an impressive 139 receiving yards.

Onalaska's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Cascade Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Onalaska will challenge Mossyrock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Loggers will be up against the Vikings' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.2 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Cascade Christian, they will face off against Annie Wright at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Gators' defense has only allowed seven points per game this season, so the Cougars' offense will have their work cut out for them.
