            Volleyball Recap: Dickinson Gators vs. Clear Springs Chargers        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Brazoswood  on Friday, Dickinson came back down to earth. The Gators took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clear Springs Chargers on Tuesday. While the Gators didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Chargers  25-15 in the first  set.
 Dickinson started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-18, 25-18,  25-23.
 Among those leading the charge was   Lianna Kearns, who  had 16  digs and three  assists. That's the most  digs  she has posted since back in September.  Karmen O'Quinn also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  digs of the season.
Dickinson's defeat dropped their record down to 22-16. As for Clear Springs, the  victory was  the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 34-8.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Dickinson will  challenge  rival Clear Falls  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Clear Springs is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Deer Park  at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday.
