After losing to Seaman the last time they met, St. James Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Thunder came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Thunder.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant St. James Academy was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-12.

Mya Lee paced St. James Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Lee got some help from Ellen Dorsey and her 15 assists. Ellie Nichols controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

St. James Academy's victory bumped their record up to 24-9. As for Seaman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-22 record this season.

St. James Academy will venture away from home to square off against Hayden on Tuesday. Seaman has already played their next contest (against Washburn Rural), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
