It was a good run, but Union Grove unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to the Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Union Grove was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-18.

Union Grove's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 29-6-1. As for Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-10-1.

Union Grove has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Locust Grove on the 2nd. As for Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, they will challenge West Laurens at 6:00 p.m. on the 9th.
