Softball Recap: Teaneck Highwaymen vs. Fort Lee Bridgemen
Teaneck was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to the Fort Lee Bridgemen.
Saige Moya made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI. Jazlin Muniz was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.
Teaneck's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Fort Lee, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Teaneck and Fort Lee will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Highwaymen are set to challenge their familiar foe Bergenfield at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Fort Lee will take on rival Dwight Morrow at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
