Basketball Recap: Coronado Comes Up Short

Coronado lost against Menaul back in December of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Leopards took a blow against the Panthers, falling 79-31.

J'Quan Samuels went supernova For Menaul., dropping a double-double with 25 points and 12 rebounds. Those 25 points gave Samuels a new career-high. Jiordani Guillet was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Coronado's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coronado wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 58-47 loss against Legacy Academy on the 29th. As for Menaul, they have also already played their next game, a 72-52 victory against Hozho Academy on the 29th.
