Volleyball Recap: Maclay Marauders vs. Chiles Timberwolves

Maclay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chiles Timberwolves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Marauders of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 23-25, 25-9, 25-13.

Natalie Gibson was nothing short of spectacular for Chiles: she had 14 digs and three aces. Gibson is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 16 or more in the last five games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Madison Joyner, who had five digs and three aces.
