Volleyball Game Preview: Newark Tech Terries vs. Payne Tech Lions

Newark Tech hasn't had much luck against Payne Tech recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Terries will take on the Lions at 4:00 p.m.

On Friday, Newark Tech came up short against Tech and fell 2-0.

Meanwhile, Payne Tech put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Bergen Catholic.

Payne Tech's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Newark Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Newark Tech couldn't quite get it done against Payne Tech in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 as they fell 2-0. Can the Terries avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
