Clinton County had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Monday. They blew past the Monroe County Falcons 15-3. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 15-0 win two weeks ago.

Clinton County pushed their record up to 29-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Monroe County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-19-1 record this season.
