Baseball Recap: Kellogg Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Kellogg's offense. They lost 28-0 to the Timberlake Tigers on Tuesday. The Wildcats lost against the Tigers in their previous head to head back in April of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 9-5 score last time.

Kellogg is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10. As for Timberlake, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Coming up, Kellogg will face off against Bonners Ferry at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Badgers have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season. As for Timberlake, they will square off against Riverside at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
