Basketball Recap: Carrington Takes a Loss

On Thursday, Carrington faced Devils Lake in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Carrington Cardinals had to suffer through a 65-31 loss at the hands of the Devils Lake Firebirds. The game marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Carrington's loss dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Devils Lake, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 21-5.

Coming up, Carrington will face off against Kindred at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Devils Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
