Mt. Diablo has gone a perfect 4-0 against Ygnacio Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Mt. Diablo Red Devils will welcome the Ygnacio Valley Wolves at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Mt. Diablo and 18 for Ygnacio Valley dating back to last season.

Mt. Diablo came up short against Berean Christian on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 25-21.

Meanwhile, in Tuesday's Canine Competition, Ygnacio Valley didn't have enough. They lost 3-0 to Alhambra on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-15, 25-13.

Mt. Diablo's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Ygnacio Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Mt. Diablo was able to grind out a solid win over Ygnacio Valley in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 3-1. Will Mt. Diablo repeat their success, or does Ygnacio Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
