Basketball Game Preview: Jefferson-Morgan Rockets vs. Bethlehem Center Bulldogs

The Jefferson-Morgan Rockets and the Bethlehem Center Bulldogs will round out the year against one another at at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Jefferson-Morgan is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 75-29 win over Mapletown. The victory was nothing new for the Rockets as they're now sitting on four straight.

Jefferson-Morgan got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Houston Guesman out in front who went 8 of 13 on his way to 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dayten Marion, who posted ten points in addition to eight boards and five assists.

Jefferson-Morgan was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Bethlehem Center hadn't done well against Fort Cherry recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Bethlehem Center walked away with a 71-58 victory over Fort Cherry.

Jefferson-Morgan's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Bethlehem Center, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Jefferson-Morgan didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Bethlehem Center in their previous matchup on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 61-55 victory.
