Volleyball Recap: Newton South's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Newton South lost against Lincoln-Sudbury back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors.

While Newton South ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 17-25, 25-17, 25-20.

Newton South's loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5. As for Lincoln-Sudbury, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Newton South wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Needham on the 10th. As for Lincoln-Sudbury, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Ashland on the 14th.
