Volleyball Recap: Newton South's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Newton South lost against Lincoln-Sudbury back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors.

Newton South's defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5. As for Lincoln-Sudbury, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Newton South didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Needham on the 10th. As for Lincoln-Sudbury, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ashland at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
